Backyard Firepit Grayscape Landscape & Design LLC At Grayscape Landscape & Design LLC, we dare to transform outdoors to peaceful retreats, and our 'Backyard Firepit' is a recent we are proud of. Nestled into the center of McKinney, this was to be a space where friends and family would come together in a place that adds to the developement both in function and beauty. There was a gorgeous stone firepit made from local natural flagstone creating a rustic elegant centerpiece in the back yard. Molly added a custom seating area made of durable, weather-resistant materials that blend in with nature around the firepit. A crushed granite path to the firepit was also incorporated into the design to maintain accessibility as well as the movement of the space. The roughness of the yard is one of the primary challenges we faced. We did this with our professional team, leveling the area up, to have it still functional and not jeopardizing the beauty of the landscape. Surrounding the firepit with dense native plantings improves site privacy and adds an aesthetically vibrant edge to the space. The end result was a stunning outdoor oasis with lighting to set the mood and showcase the firepit at night (the ideal place to gather in warmer months). Elated with the work, the client said, "Thanks to great people, perfect execution, and beautiful work, my backyard is now my favorite spot for relaxation and entertainment."
