Mixed Materials by Grayscape Landscape & Design LLC Grayscape Landscape & Design LLC recently completed this beautiful landscape renovation d "Mixed Materials" in the middle of Plano, TX. This is just one example of how we have all gone on that led directly to the quality and design that went into this , with the materials really working to transform the outdoor area into a beautiful getaway. Naturally, the "Mixed Materials" comprised an even wider variety of features, such as stone walkways, paver patios, and wooden pergolas. For the walkways we chose durable, locally sourced flagstone which blended perfectly with the surrounding greenery. Warmed bricks, interlocking bricks, are being used to construct a paver patio that provides a comfortable gathering place for outdoor dining. The slope of the site was one of the challenges that we had where we had to do careful planning and engineering both to drain away the rain and to hold the house up. We offered an experienced team that made good use of natural stone retaining walls to address the elevation change, as a not-so-generic but effective way to provide scenery and dimension to the landscape. We complemented the hardscaping with softscaping, designing lush gardens overflowing with native plants and showy flowers to support pollinators that live nearby. Our mission is to create landscapes that flourish with only a small amount of water. These low-maintenance, drought-tolerant species beautify the space and support environmentalism. The end result is an oasis that our clients have enjoyed, with an outside space for entertaining and appreciating the outdoors in a functional and beautiful manner.
