Playgrounds by Synthetic Lawns of Miami Located in Miami, Synthetic Lawns of Miami is excited to present the "Playgrounds" , an amazing and colorful landscape transformation that reimagines outdoor play areas for kids and families. The was designed with an emphasis on safety, sustainability, and beauty, and invites children to come and play in a space where they can use their imaginations. The began with an area of the site that presented us with some challenges, including the need to have the topography graded and stabilized so that it was safe and level to play on surface. We installed high-quality, eco-friendly synthetic turf that is recognized for its durability and soft feel that has improved the visual interest of the play area by creating a beautiful, green "carpet" for play. The turf is not toxic, and it is UV protected, so the colors will never fade and the surface remains cool to the touch. The design of the incorporated not only synthetic grass but focal landscaping features like native plants, flower beds, and creative play features such as oversized "boulders" and climbing structures. We are proud to have avoided non-essential water use by using only drought resistant plants in the design that present colorful interest while thriving in Miami’s climate. We installed a child friendly path of permeable pavers to provide a safe, stable route through the play area. The permeable pavers contribute to the eco-conscious design of the space because they allow for rainwater to filter back into the ground rather than pooling in the play space. At every stage, our highly skilled team successfully overcame the challenges that arose with the logistics, working with local utility services, and working within the community guidelines and restrictions, to successfully deliver the , on time and within the approved budget. The final product is a beautiful playground that exceeds every standard for safety and allows children to be free and explore, learn, and play. The pleased client has called the completed a "beautiful design that was once an empty lot is now a gathering space for families in the neighborhood."
