About This Project

Walkways & Bridges by Makeover My Yard At Makeover My Yard, we create amazing landscapes for every home that are not just great to look at, but also give function to beauty outside your home. Our latest , "Walkways & Bridges," was filmed in those same beautiful North Carolina communities near Charlotte and other areas such as Concord, Harrisburg and Matthews. Here we were asked to build beautiful and inviting paths and bridges which will link and connect the different parts of our clients amazing garden. For the walkways we used natural stone of the highest quality, timber bridges paired with eco-friendly wood. Materials were chosen considering both durability and siting in nature. Even though many agency and commercial productions have similar equipment, one of our biggest challenges was actually the uneven ground of the client's land, where we had to perform the shoot. Using creative grading we were able to create relatively flat surfaces without harming the surrounding landscape. We also installed unobtrusive pathway lighting for safety and mood, including offering the opportunity to gaze over the garden in the evening. The end result is a set of breezy walkways winding through cultivated flora through verdant passages, adorned with colorful flowerbeds and ending with intricately designed bridges through a placid pond. In addition to better utilization of the garden, an incredible journey through nature is created via the . Showing before pictures and after pictures for our happy customers. Titled the 'Walkways & Bridges' , it serves as a representation of the high standards of work provided by Makeover My Yard, visibly enhancing the landscape of Charlotte and beyond, including the towns of Mooresville, Rock Hill, and many more.
