With a detailed design that layers native Texas species with vibrant annuals that will provide color throughout the year, the will offer a dynamic experience that is aligned with the fair itself. Suggesting top quality materials such as local stone pathways and decorative boulders to reinforce the durability while trying to compliment Mother Nature. Drought-resistant plants were carefully handpicked by our team to help with sustainability and decreased maintenance. The biggest struggle we ran into was creating an immersive secret space that could hold thousands of people while still feeling intimate. We added tiered seating sprinkled throughout the greenery with areas to mingle but also offering quiet nooks for personal thought. Permanent shaded seating areas with rustic, custom-built wooden pergolas created another layer to the space. The end product is a stunning vista, that both exemplifies the spirit of Texas and also functions as a community gathering space. The client was extremely happy with the results and mentioned that bold colors, bright design elements, and high spirited ambiance truly embodied State Fair spirit and vibes which ultimately created a place for families and friends to gather.
