DESIGNED & INFO Petit Patio | Apple Tree Landscapes, Inc. Located in the centre of New Jersey, Apple Tree Landscapes, Inc. created the ‘Petite Patio’ and turned a small backyard into an entertaining outdoor oasis. From Annandale, Bridgewater and beyond, our team was challenged by a functional and aesthetic overlay within a constrained footprint. It consisted of gorgeous high-end Belgard pavers that were used for the construction of a patio that should have been installed to last a lifetime. Landscape architecture captured a cozy seating area for gatherings in the evening nestled in rich, native plantings suitable for New Jersey. For the remaining areas, we chose a variety of colorful perennial plants, enough to keep the vicinity alive and vibrant with nature during every season and especially for the pollinators. A big challenge was drainage in such a tight space. Our team devised a functional drainage solution that both provided the necessary runoff and added to the beauty of the site design. We carefully designed soft light for the patio, lighting it up for cozy nights outdoors under the stars. It was a beautiful patio and created and raised the expectations of the customer in a perfect way to relax and be comfortable. It became the apple of our clients eye in their outdoor living space where our dedication to a craftsman build with attention to environmental integrity stood above the rest. Apple Tree Landscapes, Inc. has had the privilege of partaking in the development of this cozy spot into a beautiful retreat for years to come.
