Located in the heart of Central New Jersey, Apple Tree Landscapes, Inc. is proud to present Planting Schemes, an exceptional facelift where we showcase our talents at delivering sustainable, colorful landscapes customized according to the requirements of our customers. Focused on helping communities around Annandale, Asbury, Bedminster and further, we brought this to life with a vision to provide an attractive utilizing backyard space for a private residence. The encompassed careful selection and planting of a broad palette of natives, perennials and seasonal flowering plants to provide year-around interest. We used superior quality, organic soil amendments to be sure of healthy root development and growth for the long run. Our design boasts graceful flower beds, spaced throughout the lot to make the landscape pleasing to the eye, while also providing homes to pollinators local to the area. The first challenge was choosing a place for the site where we had to ensure that each plant was placed in the correct spot given that the site was a site where some areas were exposed to lots of sunlight while some had less sunshine. We went back and did site evaluations, and chose plants that would flourish, including coneflowers and daylilies in the sunny areas and hostas and ferns in the shady areas. Surprisingly, it was followed with careful selection of each plant in order to achieve harmonious blend of colors and textures in all seasons. The end result was bold to say the least. Today, the landscape serves a dual purpose of improving curb appeal while being a place for the homeowners to retreat to and find peace. The outcome was met with high regards from our clients, who complimented the way planting schemes worked neatly into existing hardscaping like pathways and seating.
