Front Entry Garden (Lawn Replacement), Ardmore Donald Pell Gardens: At Donald Pell Gardens, we specialize in creating stunning landscapes in your garden. The Front Entry Garden our most recent in Ardmore is a prime showcase of our quality craftmanship and creativity. They were going to be transforming an Ivy-root-filled, typical sod yard into a beautiful, living landscape that complements the home and surrounding habitat. A thoughtful mix of low-maintenance native plants that included a selection of colorful perennials, ornamental grasses and visually interesting shrubs. Natural stone pathways and seating areas were added to the landscape design, locally sourced bluestone was employed to create an entryway that invites you in. Besides adding curb appeal, permeable pavers provide for improved drainage and reduced runoff and lessen environmental impacts. The soil itself was problematic as well, with years of compaction and nutrient depletion. We did the required soil amendments tons of organic compost and mulch that goes into the ground to help the plants grow better. We also arranged the garden layout for maximum sunlight access based on the needs of each plant species. The outcome has become a beautiful garden, beautiful, but also uttering a powerful statement of the Client as to the sustainable and friendly entrance that they wanted to achieve. The clients were ecstatic with the results of their transformation and said, "We are thrilled with the colors and textures that greet us and our guests." It is a beacon of our commitment to quality and quality-driven landscaping, servicing communities from Chester Springs all the way to West Chester and beyond.
