Cava Robles RV Resort by TEN OVER LANDSCAPE Nestled in the heart of Paso Robles, Cava Robles RV Resort is a stunning example of landscape design imagined and executed by TEN OVER LANDSCAPE. This expansive adeptly marries the beauty of nature and active outdoor living to welcome back and new travelers alike, visitors, and nature lovers. Our design includes an appropriate mix of native plantings, drought-tolerant plants, and seasonal blooms that celebrate sustainability and further the natural beauty of the resort. The team had a particular focus on the on-site use of local rock and reclaimed wood to create pathways and rustic seating areas that complemented the overall planted landscape and cohesive look and feel of the whole . Signature spaces include a central gathering space centered on a fire pit shaded by lush greenery, inviting guests to mingle and enjoy nature while relaxing. A major challenge of the was the difference in topography and soil conditions throughout the resort. To address this, we worked the construction team to create effective drainage and amend the soil, which contributed to the long-term health of the landscape despite the inevitable shifting and weather changes in the region. The team focused its sourcing efforts specifically on material that reflects the local aesthetic so that it fit in with the surroundings. The outcome is breathtaking. Guests enter into views that are picturesque, from the scented walking trails lined with lavender plants to picnic areas filled with grass inviting families to gather outdoors. The successful design produced a sense of community in nature that will enhance the experience of every visitor who enters the space.
