One other operational detail, given the existing walks, attached to the challenge of re-making the walks is adequate draining to circumvent pool of water around the new park for foot traffic; we dealt with this issue with properly graded site work. In addition to drainage, we utilized plants suitable for climate, using a selection of perennial natives and offering ornament grasses to enhance the overall landscape.
