Marin Craftsman by Environmental Foresight, Inc» At the Marin Craftsman in Walnut Creek, this Landscape illustrates the artistry and craftsmanship provided by Environmental Foresight, Inc. This transformation was an amazing venture bringing an average property to life with a beautiful recreation area connecting it to the very nature surrounding it. It showcases a custom stone path, built with locally sourced flagstone, to guide guests through flourishing gardens featuring native plants. These gardens were purposefully planted with a range of drought resistant plant life that grow naturally in the area, designed to attract local wildlife. A custom wood trellis draws the eye and can support climbing vines to create an intimate, shaded nook to sit in. Distinctive feature of this was installation of the peaceful water feature with a source perfectly mimicking sounds of smooth flow of a stream. The difficulties this feature posed were in fitting the drainage together so the area would not flood during periods of heavy rain. Environmental Foresight, Inc. took cutting-edge methods to create a standard water feature to provide years of functionality, as well as tranquillity and beauty to serve as the background to outdoor gatherings. They also designed a sustainable lawn space, using low-maintenance, water-conserving turf. The end product was a stunning, well-balanced landscape that creates curb appeal while remaining environmentally beneficial. The happy client expressed his satisfaction with the work done and praised the work done by the team for professionalism, detail and quality.
