Lake House Landscaping by Environmental Foresight, Inc. Sitting in the peaceful landscape of Walnut Creek, the Lake House completed by Environmental Foresight, Inc is a beautiful example of innovation and craftsmanship in landscape architecture. This created a lakeside property in an organically curated outdoor space that merges nature with refinement. The showcased a selection of native plants to create a sustainable and ecological framework. We combined herbaceous perennials, ornamental grasses, and flowering shrubs to create visual interest throughout the year and to attract local wildlife. Natural stone paths and retaining walls provided an attractive structure while remaining strong in tough weather conditions. One of the difficulties of the was the slope of the landscape. We had to carefully consider grading and drainage to prevent erosion and ensure proper runoff. We designed a drainage area that worked with the landscape to protect the structure of the property and sustain healthy plant life. In addition to the landscape refurbishment, we designed an outdoor living space equipped with a large deck made of reclaimed wood designed for entertaining and enjoying the view of the lake. We also installed low voltage landscape lighting to capture elements of the landscape throughout the evening, exemplifying how our clients can delight in the Lake House after sunset. In the end, the clients were overwhelmed with happiness, as they now have a refuge space that matches their lakeside living theme and highlights their personal values of sustainability. The Lake House is an example of Environmental Foresight, Inc's focus on quality, creativity, and commitment to client satisfaction in all landscapes we create.
