About This Project

Martha's Vineyard Estate Landscape Architects LLC is one of the creators of Martha's Vineyard Estatean exquisite makeover combining the summer splendor with the luxury of New England coast living. This groundbreaking on the bucolic waterfront of Martha's Vineyard exemplifies our focus on quality, creativity and sustainability in every aspect of design. This began with an extensive site analysis that examined the specific coastal conditions and the existing landscape. Obstacles like soil erosion and lack of access to water bodies forced us to think out of the box. We fixed these problems with an extensive drainage system, and long term maintenance-free native, drought enduring plants which tolerate sandy soils. The estate highlights include a terraced garden down to the sand beach and integrated local stone and reclaimed wood creating a rustic yet elegant aesthetic. Permeable paver pathways invite discovery, winding their way through lush perennial beds and fragrant herb gardens. We also added a large outdoor living space including a custom fire pit and seating and a water feature that reflects the estate ambiance. Incorporating natural, locally procured materials adds character and sentiment to the design, while withstanding the test of time with ease and blending seamlessly into the environment. What we are left with is a stunning landscape that impresses our clients and their guests. Martha's Vineyard Estate A Nature Haven During The Coastal Living Activities.
