Brookline Entry Garden Designed by CBA Landscape Architects, LLC, this is the Brookline Entry Garden, a gorgeous improvement that brings a welcoming note to this Massachusetts home. CBA Landscape Architects, which serves all of New England and the Mid Atlantic States, took up the challenge of redesigning the front entryway of the site and even incorporated modern lines into the natural beauty of the site. Here is an eclectic blend of native plant species chosen for their ability to survive, as well as their evergreen interest as a garden year-round. Aylin puts boulders and river stones around to provide naturalistic yard texture adding an organic feel that echoes the architecture of the home, and pairing vibrant perennials and lush ornamental grasses creates visual tethering in seasonal changes. A beautiful bluestone path winds around the garden, guiding guests to the front door yet encouraging exploration around the verdant landscape. Firstly, the mild slope on the ground was one of the major challenges during the itself. CBA Landscape Architects tackled this using tiered planting beds that create another level while also improving drainage and soil quality. This beautifully designed entrance also benefits from a custom made trellis covered in climbing plants that get some vertical interest, as well as a little closeness so that this peaceful haven begins as soon as the front door comes into view. The end result is a stunning entry garden that not only fulfills its function, but also satisfies the client, and adds so much to the curb appeal of the home.
