About This Project

The Downtown Austin Condo Renovation project involved a comprehensive transformation of a 3,500 sq. ft. condo, breathing new life into its outdated features while respecting the existing layout. Tier1 was tasked with reimagining the space to enhance functionality and aesthetic appeal, carefully analyzing the original flooring, cabinetry, and finish materials to ensure a cohesive design approach. Each area of the condo was meticulously planned to create a modern, inviting atmosphere that complements contemporary furnishings. In the media room, we introduced a playful yet sophisticated touch by utilizing multicolored recycled carpet squares, strategically arranged to form a vibrant rainbow effect. This creative flooring choice was paired with a calming dark gray wall color, fostering an environment conducive to relaxation and entertainment. The contrast between the lively carpet and the serene walls creates a visually engaging space that invites both comfort and creativity. The kitchen underwent significant upgrades, where we removed the existing black countertops in favor of a lighter, more modern surface that enhances the room's brightness and spaciousness. This change not only improved the kitchen's functionality but also contributed to a sleek, contemporary aesthetic. New cabinetry was installed to optimize storage while maintaining a streamlined appearance, and modern fixtures were selected to further elevate the design. Throughout the condo, careful attention was given to the selection of materials and craftsmanship, ensuring that every detail contributes to the overall vision. The renovation also included a contemporary balcony designed to extend the living space outdoors, perfect for enjoying the vibrant Austin skyline.
