John Madison Landscape-Terraced Backyards The 'Terraced Backyards' is one of John Madison Landscape Inc.'s most recent completed s and is not only a remarkable landscaping restoration, but also an example of our commitment to quality and ingenuity in the landscape business. The is located in the beautiful areas of Meadow Woods, Oak Ridge and Orlando, and involved the landscaping of a difficult sloped backyard into a successful creation and outdoor experience. The team had to deal with an uneven yard that required planning and execution. A series of terraces were designed with durable natural stone retaining walls that helped create the terraces structurally, while adding beauty. The natural materials were harvested locally and would be an additional benefit against the varied elements of Florida's climates. Each tier of the backyard was thoughtfully landscaped using a mix of native species of flowering plants and greenery that were selected based on the fact that they would grow better in the local climatic regions and invite the wildlife of the area into the landscape. To allow for easy access around the tiers of backyards, permeable pavers were custom designed and built in, adding beauty along with functionality to the . The final backyard is built multi-leveled, and transports beauty and function into the backyard experience. The terraces created specific spaces for enjoyment, gardening, relaxing and entertaining, and evokes the homeowner to enjoy their backyard in a different way. The work applied to the yard has increased the property value and made the client ecstatic with their compositional yard that welcomes family gathering and evening retreats.
