About This Project

Gamino Residence by EnviroscapeLA EnviroscapeLA transformed the landscaping for the Gamino residence in the heart of Manhattan Beach into a beautiful balance of functionality and beauty. This gorgeous outdoor area was built to complement the way the busy family uses their outdoor spaces together while also adding curb appeal to their property. It included a specialization of drought resistant plants, local bushes and colorful flower beds that displayed the flora of California. We handpicked quality materials such as stone pavers that were locally sourced for the patio and a timber deck that is custom-built to fit into the landscape. Permeable paving not only contributes an attractive aesthetic but also embraces sustainable water use, which is crucial in a region with such a challenging climate. The biggest challenge we faced was the deceptively sloped property. To address this our experienced landscape architects crafted planting beds that were tiered to create some visual interest and also to control the erosion of soil. A decorative retaining wall was put in place, which added extra stability while also being a visual feature. The end result is stunning outdoor space that marries modern architecture with the natural surroundings. Socialising Activity: A tranquil water feature gently trickles in the background, attracting local wildlife, and providing peace and tranquillity for the family. The large lawn with a lush green background is a great area for any party or outdoor activities while the perfect landscape lights provide glamorized views of the landscape in the night time. The Gamino family could not have been happier with the results and complimented EnviroscapeLA on the professionalism, attention to detail and quality of our work.
