Pool Retaining Wall by GLC Lawn & Landscaping LLC GLC Lawn & Landscaping LLC recently completed an amazing Pool Retaining Wall that has transformed the client's outdoor space into a tranquil oasis. From the bustling neighborhoods of Belleville, Carleton to Flat Rock, our team embraced this with creativity and precision. This involved constructing a durable retaining wall around the pool area, made to be functional and aesthetically pleasing. We used the highest quality natural stones, which work well in both performance and integration with the landscape. Our team of professionals selected stones that fit the client's existing outdoor decor aesthetic while adding to the overall atmosphere. One of the largest challenges to overcome was the slope of the rest of the yard that surrounded the pool. Our designers and landscapers created an innovative solution, using tiered levels in the retaining wall. This allowed the wall to maintain the soil for stability, while also adding interest by breaking vertical space. This process not only added safety to prevent erosion, but it also allowed for lovely, colorful plantings to be incorporated into the growable microclimates of the wall cutouts. In the end, we had an amazing and beautiful multi-tiered retaining wall that not only has purposes, but also has improved the entire outdoor experience for our client. The way the natural stone, carefully placed lighting, and living plants contributed to the inviting experience of the outdoors is something that this client, along with their guests, will be able to enjoy for sometime in the future.
