About This Project

Partnership for Out Teach - Sublime Water Gardens Sublime Water Gardens successfully completed the successful 'Out Teach - Partnership' landscaping , which aims to renew outdoor learning spaces for schools in the community. From Argyle to Fort Worth, we transformed that area to create a lively and sustainable environment where creativity can flourish alongside a connection to nature. This involved creating a variety of beautiful features, such as an assortment of native plants that will thrive in the Texas climate and will require lesser maintenance while boasting beauty year-round. We designed a custom rain garden to manage stormwater runoff, utilizing permeable pavers and decorative gravel to provide drainage and to combat soil erosion. Our experienced craftsman constructed calming seating areas using sustainably sourced timber and stone, creating inviting spaces for students and teachers. One of the most challenging aspects of this was the sloped nature of the site. Our team took difficulty in stride and leveled the ground by terracing the hill to create visually stimulating spaces that are functional, allow exploration, and facilitate engagement. We also implemented drip irrigation to conserve water while maintaining healthy plant life, supporting our efforts for sustainability. The end product is quality aesthetics and functionality where the environment of plants creates a seamless blend of thoughtful landscaping design and vibrant greenery. The plantings' colors and textures promote curiosity and add to the learning experience. The faculty and student response has been overwhelmingly positive, with students expressing excitement their new outdoor classrooms and gathering areas. As Sublime Water Gardens, we are proud to have partnered with Out Teach to create a landscape will enhance landscape quality, as well as enrich the lives of people using that space outdoors.
