Container Garden Design - Unique by Design | Helen Weis At Unique by Design, we take pride in our ability to elevate outdoor areas into colorful, livable space that is a true reflection of what our clients will enjoy. The we are sharing with you here is one we have dubbed "Container Garden Design" for our client, Helen Weis. We feel that creating outdoor space is more than just designing a garden; it is designing a garden full of energy and life, with colors, forms, and textures that overlap and play nicely with one another. Our "Container Garden Design" represents our passion for quality and creativity in the landscape. The site was a stunning house in the heart of Nichols Hills and presented the opportunity to apply a wide range of plant specimens and design phases to help compliment the established visual appeal of the existing home while satisfying the unique taste that Helen has. After our initial consultation with Helen, we understood she had a specific vision for her container garden that would incorporate color, texture, and seasonal interest. Our team curated high quality, climate-appropriate plants consisting of unique succulents, culinary herbs, and colorful, annual flowering plant species situated in a high-quality selection of ceramic and wood containers. We incorporated sustainable practices by select raw materials and constructed soil colors of different amendments in containers. A major design challenge came from the sunlight exposure of the containers. Our designers worked hard to arrange containers to put sun-loving plants in containers next to shade tolerant plants to help achieve the visual interest and still be well-adapted for a space. The final result was a canvas of color and life; container variety had a great impact with the suitability of the accompanying plants or their related container features. The flowers cascaded out of containers, while lively greens embraced those blooms in color and interest. Each container basically told a unique story; one that reflected the unique nature of the seasons and served as a stunning focal area for gatherings outside. With our attention to detail and our commitment to quality construction exceeded the expectation of Helen, allowing her the opportunity to entertain in a vibrant and functional garden.
