INTRODUCTION: RUSTIC URBAN by CFLD Landscape Design Scoped Under The Bustle Of The Neighborhoods Of Sacramento Area, The Epitome Of Nature And Living Together, CFLD Landscape Design RUSTIC URBAN Enjoyment This landscape transformation was had to combine rustic and urban elements to create a wonderful outdoor experience that reflects the clients lifestyle and aesthetic aspirations. Native vegetative places and drought-tolerant landscaping components allow the to be sustainable and promotes aesthetic qualities related to it. High-quality materials were chosen by CFLD Landscape Design eg. reclaimed wood for raised garden beds, locally-sourced stone for pathways, and decorative boulders that harmonize the entire space to create a rural ambience. The outdoor entertaining area is complemented by a custom-built cedar pergola which adds summer shade to the space. Some of the challenges we faced in the were the bumpy surface of the property. To counter this, the talented team at CFLD tackled this challenge by bringing tiered landscaping into the picture which not only levels the area but also creates visual aesthetics. Integrating a natural stone retaining wall also aided in managing the slope, and provided a beautiful focal point. A pond with koi fish, a simple waterfall calming in sound and in energy, was planned. Water features were carefully placed so that the pond was drawn to a territory of stillness yet close proximity to other vital elements, inviting wildlife to brighten the space and allowing for the exhale of breath and the promise of needed comfort. Finish work ended with ambient lighting to beautify the area in evenings, and make it usable hours after sunset. The end result of the 'RUSTIC URBAN' was a space that not only satisfied a client with it's beauty, but also provided a charming and sustainable functional outdoor environment that strikes a balance and refuge in humanity in the urban environment. CFLD Landscape Design made true to their craft to deliver quality craftsmanship and with their expertise and innovative design, turned this space into a true urban oasis, that stands proud within Arden-Arcade and surrounding communities.
