Located in the exquisite regions of Charlottesville and Albemarle County, The Great Outdoors, LLC. is thrilled to present the 'Landscape Installation Photos' , an opportunity to showcase our landscaping proficiency. This involved a comprehensive overhaul of a large residential space and designed the entire to postively integrate with the natural beauty of the Central Virginia landscape. Our team executed a complete design and implementation of multiple landscaping features, including a beautiful garden of native plant materials, which would showcase the region's plant diversity. We selected durable and beautiful materials, including locally harvested stone for garden pathways and rustic wood for retaining walls. The installation of a custom flagstone and stone patio created a beautiful outdoor living space designed for entertaining and gathering with family. During the course of the landscape installation we experienced obstacles related to steep topography as well as existing drainage issues. Our talented team utilized creative drainage implementations including terracing and planting to assist with managing water runoff and drainage. Not only did this improve the resiliency of the landscape, but the improved drainage and management of runoff enhanced the overall beauty of the landscape. The finished product surpassed our client's expectations. The vibrant green and floral colors intermixed with the hardscape of the landscape structures, all complimented by the architecture of the home created a peaceful oasis, beckoning for use. Our attention to detail shined through our high quality craftsmanship of construction, and our clients were ecstatic with the delivery of their new outdoor living space. The not only improved the property's curb appeal, but also helped to add to the local ecosystem as it was designed utilizing sustainable practices.
