Beer Garden by THE OHIO VALLEY GROUP, INC. Right in the center of the beautiful Chagrin Falls community, THE OHIO VALLEY GROUP, INC. had a wonderful opportunity to bring the ‘Beer Garden’ vision to life! A simple outdoor space has been transformed into a local scene where the community can relax and interact. The functional landscape design includes a rustic pergola that is the perfect structure to hold climbing vines, providing shade while also delivering nature's beauty. The stone patio, built of flagstone that was quarried in the local area, serves to warm the aesthetic and create ambience. Native plantings were included in the landscape to make the garden sustainable and enhance the beauty while supporting flora and fauna in the process. Custom wooden benches and picnic tables were added to entice guests to sit longer to savor their experience. The slopes presented a few site challenges for drainage, so the team devised a great improvement to the drainage system to ensure the space provides a comfortable experience, even in heavy rain. Finally, we added ambient lighting in the garden for evening events to provide even more charm. The end result greatly exceeded the expectations of the client. We have provided the whole family with a warm, kind, welcoming, beergarden area that will feel like it belongs there in the addition of the natural surroundings. The Ohio Valley Group, Inc. was very excited to present the community and the residents of Aurora, Bainbridge and beyond the enhanced lifestyle and community connection experience.
