About This Project

Woodbury Residence with Tight Yard and Pool At Morell Landscape Associates, we take pride in making the awkward beautiful. An exemplary case is the located Woodbury Residence. The was executed in a tight yard with an infinity pool. Our job was to tackle a small yard, not limited to the public space, and create a beautiful outdoor space with additional functions. In creating an inviting outdoor space, we used perfect hardscaping, which consists of beautiful bluestone pavers connecting the area around the pool, to passways, that organized the space. Then, we custom-designed sustainably sourced cedar planters, which contributed warmth to the area and were filled with seasonal flowers to be the given life to every corner of the yard. Finally, low maintenance native plants were placed throughout the space for visual impact, plus benefits of food supports seasonal pollinators. Of course, one of the challenges of achieving a good design solution was to satisfy the necessary need for privacy, without losing the desired open feel in a small yard. To help achieve this, we installed a carefully designed trellis covered by climbing vines, which created a screen without losing the light. The has results of a peaceful retreat that entertains guests while enjoying a small yard. After the was completed, the homeowners were ecstatic to see that we were able to turn their vision into a reality. The Woodbury Residence reflected our ability to transform confined spaces into a work of art that engaged their lifestyles.
