About This Project

Ponds by Seoane Landscape Design At Seoane Landscape Design, we are excited to share with you the 'Ponds' , which has transformed outdoor living in the center of some of the areas we service (Avon, Braintree, Bridgewater, etc.). This was designed to provide a relaxing oasis in nature in a place that would become a rejuvenating escape for our client. This landscape includes a stunning pond constructed with natural stone and sustainable materials. Our team carefully selected granite boulders sourced locally from New England to create an edge for the pond that is rustic and will blend into the surrounding area. The pond also has a gentle waterfall that had a dual purpose - visual appeal and sound to help foster a relaxing environment. Of course, there were challenges associated with the existing site and ensuring the water was flowing in a manageable way. Our landscape architects along with a grading team, carefully and practically designed the site to include a slope by grading the path of the water. This step was essential to allow drainage to occur naturally, minimizing erosion that could be detrimental to the health of the entire site and pond. To enhance the environment even further, we included a variety of aquatic plants into and around the pond (water lilies, cattails, etc.). The aquatic plants we included provided beauty and habitat for wildlife in the area, which is another beautiful aspect of this . In addition, we also put native perennials on the edge of the pond, which helped create diverse ecosystems with low-fall maintenance to allow our clients to exist in their landscape naturally and enjoyably. In the end, the result is a gorgeous pond that serves as a backdrop for any type of relaxation or entertainment. Our clients are delighted with the product and commented on how well art is blended with functionality to create a healing atmosphere and how alive the place is.
