Design - Build Mountain Home Landscape in Summit County, CO Neils Lunceford, Inc. is excited to share our 'Design - Build Mountain Home Landscape' , a wonderful transformation located in Summit County, CO. Serving the beautiful area of Dillon, Heeney, Silverthorne, Vail and Breckenridge, our team took on the of creating an outdoor oasis that is in tune with the lovely natural setting. This involved a seamless combination of native plants, hardscape components, and entertaining outdoor living spaces. We used local stone for the large patios and walkways, which was meant to stay for the test of time and to match the mountain aesthetic. The also involved the use of drought tolerant plants that even in the toughest conditions could provide low maintenance and could thrive on minimal irrigation. The had many challenges, including steep access and rock substrate that is very common to Summit County. Our landscape architects designed terraced gardens that not only introduced visual interest, but helped to control erosion. On our clients' behalf we also installed a custom drainage system to mitigate possible runoff. We are committed to sustainable landscaping. The outcome is a blend of nature with design combining inviting outdoor seating areas, fire pit and lush gardens with year round color and texture. Our clients were thrilled to have a peaceful get-a-way that openly reflected their lifestyle and the beauty of the Rockies as their back yard.
