Fun With Color B. Gardening Landscape Design: Fun With ColorA colorful experimental landscaping in Denver The purpose of showcasing the garden through the transformation was to turn it into an inviting visual spectacle that combines different colors and textures, and is sustainable as well. Initially, our team did a consultation to understand the client and his vision. Choosing a variety of flowering perennials; ornamental grasses; and shrubs offered seasonal splashes of color in a diverse palette of textures, ensuring 12 months of interest in the mixed shrub border. Native plants featured in the garden, aesthetic values, biodiversity promotion Natural plant use improved aesthetics, the introduction of local biodiversity (due to reduced water consumption attraction to local plants) The property was extremely uneven which was another major challenge for us. These conditions lead us to devise inventive grading solutions to accommodate tiered flower beds and a sinuous design that invites the eye to traverse the landscape. We also introduced sustainable materials by using durable permeable pavers on the pathways that provide better drainage and reduce runoff. The end result is a beautiful garden that creates a sense of place and encourages exploration and use. The colourful floral arrangements among the lush greenery illustrate a liveliness that matches the vibrancy of our client. Each step, from picking the plants to the artistic stone placements, was made with careful attention to detail that illustrated our quality craftsmanship and ultimately came together to capture the charm of the garden. The client was very pleased with the result calling it one of the most creative designs he had ever seen and that the color flowed throughout the property like a play.
