About This Project

Gated Entry, Bruno Design Associates Unique and beautiful the "Gated Entry" by Bruno Design Associates located in the heart of Chester. This turned an ordinary entryway into an impressive transitional space that incorporated space and beauty. A beautifully detailed wrought iron gate is set amongst hedges of Boxwood and seasonal flowers, providing an inviting yet secure entry to the landscape. So in order to keep the impact of entrance gate high we used natural stone paving approach to the gate which is worn and serves you with long life and rustic charm. Where possible, soft landscape lighting was designed so the pathway is illuminated for safety and the evening setting is magical. A challenge we met was the slope of the land, as the sewer needed to go downhill, and placing that equipment needed to be approached in a more drastic way to keep the elegance and beauty. Using terracing and deceptive boulder placement, our team sculpted a functional but aesthetic landscape. We also picked drought-tolerant plants, so that the effort to maintain these plants is low and sustainable. Our client was thrilled with the end result, calling the a balance between beauty and function. While this new paving adds to the curb appeal of the property, the gated entry adds an even more locked in security and grandeur.
