About This Project

'In the Woods' by MH3 Design Group Located in the tranquil context of a Minnetonka neighborhood, 'In the Woods' represents MH3 Design Group’s creativity and craft. This landscaping rejuvenated a one-acre lot for a family that highlights natural elements, functional outdoor spaces, and beautiful landscapes. Our design focused on selection of native plantings to provide an attractive, lush, and diverse habitat while conserving resources. We incorporated an expansive stone patio made of locally sourced bluestone to provide ample entertaining space that draws you in to the natural setting. The graceful pathways of reclaimed granite pavers invited you in through flower gardens, and passive gathering space. The uneven site challenged us, but we took the opportunity to make tiered gardens to solve, and enhance look, and implement better drainage. Love of sustainability, this design relocated the existing irrigation system to be more efficient and conserve water. Our clients were happy with the end result, and we hope they now feel they have a beautiful dream outdoor space that can be enjoyed in the intimate context with the similar woods surrounding their home. 'In the Woods' is a capsule of natural beauty, purposely designed, demonstrating quality craftsmanship, and custom client satisfaction with MH3 Design Group.
