Seasonal Color Displays by UNITED LANDSCAPE SVC At UNITED LANDSCAPE SVC, we believe in bringing outdoor spaces to life with beautiful displays of nature, and our latest endeavor, Seasonal Color Displays, reflects our commitment to quality and innovation. Serving the Lexington and Lexington-Fayette area, we were commissioned to create a series of seasonal gardens that provide interest year-round for both the client and the community. Our design team worked diligently to evaluate and select a diverse palette of annuals and perennials that would produce a mix of color throughout the changing seasons. The cheerful yellows and oranges of spring daffodils, to the deep reds, pinks, purples, and yellows of autumn mumswe curated the plantings based on their compatibility with the local climate and soils. We used high-quality, sustainable materials such as organic compost and premium mulch to enhance soil fertility, moisture retention, and stimulate vigorous growth. A significant challenge we faced was the existing uneven terrain of the site. To remedy this issue, a significant amount of grading and preparation was needed to install raised beds or retention walls to create defined planting areas. Our talented and skilled crew used natural stone and resource materials from within the area to create a striking and textural foundation for the displays and support the hardscaping page of the plantings. The end result has been a stunning tapestry of color that changes with the seasons and elevates the property while capturing the admiration of those who pass. Our client was excited and thrilled with both the aesthetic, as well as the thoughtfulness of the effort and attention to detail that our crews exhibited. Overall, the seasonal color displays provide a great illustration of UNITED LANDSCAPE SVC’s persistence in a commitment to excellence in landscaping, turning dreams into a reality while enhancing the natural beauty in Lexington and Lexington-Fayette.
