Steps & Stairs by Poole's Stone and Garden, Inc. In our most recent , "Steps & Stairs", Poole's Stone and Garden, Inc. took a steep, uninviting slope and designed and installed beautiful stone steps that not only fit seamlessly into the surrounding landscape, but also made it safe and easy for the homeowner to access a garden area above. Using the finest quality natural stone derived from local quarries, we constructed a functional yet beautiful set of steps that melded in with the architecture of the home. There was a great deal of meticulous cutting and placement of each stone so the steps were not only functional, but ensured stability and longevity. We were fortunate to secure bluestone and granite, both having the integrity to withstand the most intense of weather conditions while also creating a rare and incredible focus for landscape design. The and installation also provided us with the opportunity to address uneven terrain and drainage issues that could lead to erosion if we did not offer a proper solution. Our team assembled a proper drainage system, under the stone steps, which allows the rain water to travel away from the home, while ensuring the landscape has a solid foundation. In addition, we framed the installed stair case with lush, native plantings while also constructing decorative gravel pathways through the entire area to keep with the overall feel and design. The final product provided a set of classic and beautiful stone steps that created a solution for not only the homeowner's access issues, but added to the beauty of the entire property. As they walked the , the homeowner was thrilled and repeatedly commented on the quality of work and detail that Poole's Stone and Garden, Inc. puts into their s.
