Design Phase Neoclassical Renovation 2019 Completed by: BORDEN Landscape Design Where: Longboat Key, Florida What: 'Neoclassical Renovation 2019' by BORDEN Landscape Design Set on a saltwater tidal marsh on the Gulf side of Florida's coastal paradise, evolved an outdoor elegance where the architecture is enveloped by expansive vistas while simultaneously offering controlled momentary pleasures. Our comprehensive design phase highlighted our dedication to excellence through planning and execution while providing services to clients in Sarasota, Siesta Key, Boca Grande, Sanibel Island, and Casey Key. This highlighted the seamless integration of a timeless design with nature and the uplifting beauty of neoclassical architecture. We imagined a stately entrance, surrounded by manicured boxwoods and topiaries, leading guests down a peaceful path of Caladium bulbs and seasonal flowering perennials. Using timeless, local materials like antique limestone pavers and light natural coral stone, added allure and made for an ageless, durable solution ideally suited to the climate of Florida. Ensuring the new design worked seamlessly alongside their existing irrigation system was one of the biggest challenges faced, but ensuring water efficiency remained paramount. We overcome this by constructing a state the art drip irrigation system for our plantings that maximises growth and lowers water wastage with the goal of growing everything out in their new location. The end product is a beautiful outdoor room that our clients were thrilled with; A timeless Overture of symmetry and proportion. These inviting elements included pretty patio areas with decorative urns and seasonal flowers ideal for individual relaxation or getting together with others. This created a lasting impression of upscale elegance, adding instant value with a showcase of coastal luxury living at its finest.
