Pools and Patios by Thompson's Landscaping Thompson's Landscaping is excited to share our latest , Pools and Patios, which is part patio renovation, part landscape installation, and premium quality pool installation. The outdoor space we designed and built has completely transformed the look and utility of the client's backyard in The Woodlands. The started with a thorough client meeting to understand the vision for the backyard; a place to escape and relax. We settled on the materials being used, and decided on natural stone pavers for the patio and a sleek modern fiberglass pool that complemented the surrounding landscape. The Thompson's Landscaping team planned and built the patio layout with both curved edges and separate areas for lounging and dining. The combination of widths and layouts also encouraged flow and usability. As with all outdoor s, the existing landscaping and grade presented the biggest challenge for this site. Some areas of the backyard needed to be graded to create proper drainage away from the pool and we used various drainage techniques as well as grading for landscape to mitigate this hazard. To enhance the client’s space we added plants along with native Texas plants and ornamental grasses for sustainability, ease, and aesthetics. We also installed a patio and pool lighting to highlight the spaces in the evening creating a more romantic vibe for nighttime gatherings. This outdoor space exceeded our client's vision and now provides the perfect setting for family gatherings, summer barbecues, or gifts of an evening under the stars. Once again, Thompson's Landscaping has met the culture of quality workmanship and customer satisfaction in Conroe, Magnolia, Montgomery, Oak Ridge North, Pinehurst, Shenandoah, Spring, The Woodlands, and Tomball.
