About This Project

The Seabright Transitional project, located in Carlsbad, CA, beautifully embodies a modern coastal aesthetic, merging functionality with a serene atmosphere inspired by the sea. This bathroom renovation transforms the space into a tranquil retreat, beginning with the striking selection of the Kohler Derring Wading Pool sink paired with the elegant Finial Faucet. These choices set the tone for the entire design, reflecting a harmonious blend of sophistication and coastal charm. Central to the design is the recessed Robern medicine cabinet mirror, which elegantly frames the sink area. Surrounding the mirror are glass "swishes" in shades of blue that echo the hues of the ocean, adding a distinctive yet subtle decorative element. The vanity showcases a contemporary waterfall edge, extending both inside and outside, which enhances the modern feel while providing a seamless transition to the adjoining shower bench. For the countertops, we chose the retired color Rafine from LG's Quartz collection, a choice that adds depth and warmth to the space. Complementing the quartz are the sand-colored porcelain wood plank flooring, which runs throughout the home, imparting an organic driftwood aesthetic that evokes the coastal environment. This flooring not only contributes to the visual flow but also offers durability and ease of maintenance, making it ideal for a bathroom setting. To complete the design, Hudson Valley lighting sconces are mounted onto the glass backsplash, delivering a sophisticated touch of illumination that enhances the overall ambiance. The careful selection of materials and innovative craftsmanship culminates in a bathroom that is not only visually stunning but also highly functional. The Seabright Transitional project stands as a testament to thoughtful design and meticulous execution, delivering a space that invites relaxation and embodies the essence of coastal living.
