Brief: Pemberton Gardens by Moss Landscaping Pemberton Gardens is a premier landscaping by Moss Landscaping that is situated in the affluent River Oaks area of Houston, Texas. This has transformed an expansive residential estate by integrating the stunning aesthetics of the site with the refined elegance of the home. When Moss Landscaping began this process, we were faced with the dilemma of a hilly property that did not have the benefits or enjoyment of outdoor spaces. After an extensive planning and design phase, our experienced team designed a breathtaking multi-level garden space for the residence that seamlessly tied the design to the existing architecture of the home. Major features include a gorgeous water feature, which serves as a central focal point, all while incorporating an extensive variety of native plants to support biodiversity and sustainability. Adding locally sourced stone for pathways and terracing provides aesthetic quality and durability for the Houston area's unpredictable weather. Our thorough planting plan included bold flower colors, seasonal color from herbs and shrubs providing seasonal splashes of color, and enhanced greenery to provide a sense of place for enjoyment and relaxation. After working with the client to overcome site challenges with respect to drainage and limited sunlight in certain areas, we were able to cost-effectively contribute to the onsite by installing a custom irrigation system and selecting species that grow and thrive in low-light conditions. The result is an oasis that invites respite and exploration for the homeowner's family and friends, from small gatherings to large events. Ultimately, the client was overwhelmed with joy upon the final reveal of the final product, which is beautifully balanced, sustainable, and increased value to the property.
