Mar Vista by Lauri Burrier Garden Design Inc. Located in the heart of Mar Vista, this landscaping by Lauri Burrier Garden Design Inc. has taken a standard outdoor space and turned it into a beautiful oasis that blends aesthetics with usability. The firm serves the rich communities of Southern California, including Los Angeles, Santa Monica, and Pasadena, and through this , they demonstrated their creativity in developing beautiful and custom landscapes that aligned with the client's requests. The Mar Vista has combined a beautiful selection of all native plants, drought tolerant landscaping, beautiful hardscape elements, and a variety of seating areas. The design has created green terraces with several brightly colored flowering plants, providing year-round interest for pollinators, as well as visual aesthetics for the passive observer. The original design concept included a pathway made of local flagstones, which offers both aesthetic appeal as well as durability. The seating areas are also exceedingly inviting; they were custom-built using reclaimed wood, and they invite guests to sit and enjoy the lush garden setting. Grading, site conditions, and slopes were some of the challenges of this ; the landscape designer was able to meet the difficulty of the site and complete the with innovative grading solutions and retaining walls to hold in place the planting beds. The planting beds and layouts look visually cohesive and functionally usable (as intended) within the beautiful setting. Ultimately, the resulted in an exceptionally curated outdoor space, perfectly suited for the client, and added valuable enhancement to the overall value of the property.
