The expansive residential landscape is a striking transformation from a densely overgrown area into an attractive outdoor space where nature and the modern home can coexist. The included a robust native plant garden to enhance local biodiversity while providing beautiful seasonal interest. The perennials and ornamental grasses were selected for their durability and beauty to ensure colorful blooms from spring until fall. A beautiful custom stone path made from local granite, winds through the garden and provides a path of travel for guests through its profusion of texture and scents. A major obstacle was the variation in slopes around the property. Seoane Landscape Design employed a tiered-planting system to increase visual interest, while providing better water drainage and soil stability. Furthermore, the construction of a modern wooden pergola that allows for shade features flowering vines that eventually grow to cover the structure, while continuing to provide privacy. The end result is a beautiful landscape that adds value to the property and a peaceful space for the McKenna family and visitors. The level of detail, quality of materials, and sustainable practices all speak to the commitment of Seoane Landscape Design to ensure everything was perfect.
