The Gorgeous House project in San Antonio, TX, exemplifies a transformative approach to exterior home improvement and kitchen aesthetics. The primary focus of this project involved updating the outdated orange tone of the stucco to a lighter shade, which significantly enhanced the home’s overall appearance. This new hue not only refreshed the look but also beautifully accentuated the architectural features, including the columns and trim surrounding doors and windows. To ensure longevity and durability, we utilized POWER HOUSE CAULK rated for 60 years to meticulously address any open joints and cracks before proceeding with the painting. For the soffit, fascia, and back entry doors, we applied two coats of Sherwin Williams DURATION PAINT in the elegant color Kendall Charcoal, providing a rich contrast to the lighter stucco. The stucco itself received one coat of Sherwin Williams LOXON ELASTOMERIC HIGH BUILD PAINT in Manchester Tan, ensuring a robust finish that withstands the elements while enhancing the home’s Mediterranean charm. Additionally, the metal railings were spot-primed with a rust inhibitor, followed by a sleek application of Sherwin Williams ASE OIL LL in Tricorn Black, delivering a polished and cohesive look. In addition to the exterior enhancements, the project included a stylish update to the kitchen backsplash. The homeowner sought a modern touch behind the stove area, leading to the installation of an impressive glass tile backsplash that introduces a contemporary flair and complements the overall design theme of the home. This project, completed in 2018 with a budget ranging from $10,001 to $25,000, showcases our commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
