About This Project

The Lewandowski Maverick Landscaping, Porch and Patio was thrilled to take on the transformative Lewandowski , a beautiful landscape in the heart of Overland Park. This involved detailed planning and execution to preserve the property’s natural beauty and create functional outdoor spaces for the family to enjoy. The was a unique combination of hardscaping and softscaping elements. We used quality flagstone to create a custom stone patio and walkway system designed for longevity and beauty. We also installed many native plantings, including ornamental grasses and flowering perennials, to form a colorful and environmentally friendly garden that provides seasonal interest. The sustainable use of materials not only established an aesthetic impact, but also made it a more resilient and low maintenance garden. The steep slope of the property was one of the main issues of the Lewandowski . This was an area where we needed to offer our expertise to plan functional site drainage to keep water from pooling and eroding soil. Our knowledgeable landscape architects planned tiered of garden beds to facilitate drainage, but also to provide never before seen depth and structure to this property. Decorative boulders and gravel pathways fit the natural elements of the landscape, making a harmonious transition from hardscaping elements back into green space. Ultimately, the Lewandowski’s were all smiles with the transformative . This new space was designed for entertaining family, celebrating moments of good weather, and simply enjoying evenings outdoors among the stars.
