About This Project

Maverick Landscaping, Porch and Patio's Thompson The Thompson was located in central Overland Park and showcases the talent and quality handiwork of Maverick Landscaping, Porch and Patio. This took a simple back yard and turned it into a beautiful outdoor oasis for relaxation and entertaining. This included a beautiful multi-level patio made of quality, natural stone, which created a beautiful outdoor space to gather on. Built into the design were unique, wooden pergolas that created shade and texture, and the native plants presented a great deal of color and interest all season. We selected sustainability materials, focusing on long-lasting from the environment perspective, and highlighting the client's interest in sustainability. One of the challenges to address was resolving some drainage problems that were likely to create issues back yard. Our team diagnosed the problem, and expertly graded the yard and built in a drainage system to contain the water flow, and preserved the landscape and home areas. The final result provided function and form together. The Thompson provided the home itself with a great deal of curb appeal and provided the clients use of a peaceful escape all year round. This spotlighted the focus on professional quality and service from Maverick Landscaping Porch and Patio, and as a an added positive note the Thompson family loved the outdoor retreat they have now.
