The following images are the result of a called Rocky Creek - Rush Pea Circle 2 by 622 Outdoor Lifestyles. Located in the gorgeous Texas Hill Country the Rocky Creek Rush Pea Circle 2 showcases a true expression of design and craftsmanship by 622 Outdoor Lifestyles. Here in the heart of Austin, Barton Creek, Bee Cave and surrounding areas, we took this ambitious landscaping task serving the larger communities to convert a your average backyard into a beautiful outdoor oasis. This was an incredible mix of native plant materials and thoughtful materials to respond to the current grading while managing drainage due to the site weather conditions. We carefully chose drought-tolerant plants (including sunny native perennials and ornamental grasses) that grow well in our region. These were complemented by boulders and river stones, which added variety and allow the water to flow naturally, allowing the landscape to stay green and active throughout the seasons. The property had a really steep gradient, so we were immediately challenged by how to make usability out of the space on the ground. We built stone retaining walls as tiered garden beds by hand using locally quarried stone, for function and form. This method not only highlighted the features of the land but created functional spaces to entertain and unwind. The end result is a beautifully functional landscape utilizing different textures and colors from season to season. The client was thrilled with the result and complimented us for our precise execution of the landscape and its integration into the surrounding natural environment. This reflects our dedication in delivering a greater quality of service and a satisfactory experience to our clients and is indeed a work in progress of what creativity coupled with craftsmanship can achieve in landscaping (in Singapore).
