Design - Build Landscape Grand County Ranch Landscaping Neils Lunceford, Inc. is excited to share our Design - Build Landscape , which sits on a manicured ranch in Grand County, combining nature and functionality with great craftsmanship. The ranch is located in scenic valleys and regions like Dillon, Heeney, Silverthorne, Vail, Summit County, and Breckenridge, and the landscape was designed with the ranch's peaceful surroundings in mind while also providing functional outdoor space. The landscape includes a wide variety of native plants, all planned to be environmentally sustainable with little to no maintenance while maintaining all the natural beauty of the mountains around it. We constructed a beautiful retaining wall with local stone of high quality, which serves as a property edge as well as erosion control. Pathways were planned with site specific pavers and will lead guests through lush gardens to plenty of seating areas, which is perfect when looking at the views. While steep slopes were a challenge of any and all of the s in this region, there were many working parts needing to be designed and constructed over other nearby structures. It was necessary to introduce grading to prevent erosion and run-off while planning drainage from sites where no exceptions were made for the quality of drainage and or water control. Water conservation measures were also used tightly with proven irrigation that was maintenance-friendly. The modifying landscaping fits seamlessly with the rustic charm of the ranch. The results wowed our client. Not only a 'look' that meets the client's specifications, the landscape is functional. Gardens with varying shapes and species, pathways that lead thoughtfully in a way that invites and welcomes, and attractive seating that invites family and guests to spend time were the ultimate goal.
