The originally started with a thorough consultation to gain insight into the client's vision, specifically around how they were looking to use their outdoor space. Focusing on a space where people can enjoy warmth and comfort, we created an attractive fire pit surrounded by beautiful sitting walls so family and friends can come together. Using quality materials, we chose natural stone to build the sitting walls, which would last for generations to come with a rustic visage. An open circular fire pit made using fire-rated brick creates a homey spot for roasting marsh mellows or telling stories under the stars. One of the obstacles we had came from the property being sloped. Richter Landscapes carefully graded the land to produce a level base for the sitting walls and fire pit while incorporating terrace landscaping to help with drainage and erosion control. Aside from solving a possible issue, it also served as visual interest to the entire design. The end product is a gorgeous outdoor sanctuary that is both practical and visually appealing. A new fire pit area serves as a central focal point in the backyard, enticing warmth and relaxation.
