PRIVATE PUTTING GREEN + LANDSCAPE DESIGN The Landscaping People, Inc. is excited to share our most recent , "Private Putting Green + Landscape Design," a stunning redesign tucked away in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. Our goal was to create a luxurious outdoor experience that would unite the sport of golf with imaginative landscape design reflecting the vision of the client. We first created a custom putting green utilizing high-end, durable synthetic turf, that will allow our client to play year-round. The green was expertly shaped and contoured to provide as much of an authentic putting experience as possible, while also incorporating some elevation, undulation, and a sand trap! We only supplied the highest quality materials, so the putting surface looks amazing while also being durable and apathetic to the South Florida climate. Next, we created a complete landscape design to elevate the entire presentation of the property, which introduced native plants and ornamental shrubbery that thrive in the area and provide seasonal color and texture. The putting green is framed by the landscaping and accessed with pathways that incorporate stone work. The vegetation provides privacy and blends the putting green comfortably into the landscape, creating peace and tranquillity. The implementation of ambient lighting functions to highlight the stone on the paths and accent the vibrant greens of the plant material to enjoy while playing after dark. Through this unique process, we also addressed challenges such as uneven ground with existing drainage problems. Our team was able to address these issues properly, and added value for the client by implementing a complete drainage system that protects the putting green, while still allowing for proper plant health. In the end, the transformation is incredible, and is now a backyard oasis that exceeds the client's expectations. The combination of recreational and aesthetic appeal creates a perfect space for family and events. Our client loves being able to go out any time to practice putting in their private space.
