Landscape s by Pfeifer Landscaping Pfeifer Landscaping is excited to offer "Landscape s," a full-service landscaping that beautifies outdoor spaces in the Kansas City area (Kansas City, Lake Quivira, Leawood, Lenexa, Merriam, Mission, North Kansas City, Olathe, Overland Park, Prairie Village, Roeland Park, Shawnee, Shawnee Mission, and Mission Hills). With their focus on quality, creativity, and customer satisfaction, this is very exciting. This is a marriage of native plantings, tasteful hardscapes, and function outdoor living spaces. Our staff selected drought-tolerant perennial flowers, ornamental grasses, and annuals that give a beautiful appearance to the stratified, minimal maintenance lush landscape that thrives in the local climate. The natural stone pathways and the custom, natural stone terracing provided both elements of beauty and structural stability to the slope, which mitigated an erosion problem in several locations. One of the challenges of this was the challenges of the site's topography. There were multiple opportunities for an impressive grade changing that treated site drainage and resolved potential water pooling on the property. Closely with the engineered solutions to the grade change, our design team utilized French drains and designed bioswales that met functionality and created native, sustainable landscape solutions that just happened to be beautiful and another example of connectivity with nature. The end result is a beautiful backyard oasis that is uniquely designed to serve the character of each home while maximizing space, utility, and beauty. It was a delight to see the dreams and aspirations for each property come to life into some dynamic spaces that are perfect for entertaining, enjoying time with family and friends, or enjoying the great outdoors.
