Snow Residence by The Landscaping People, Inc. Located in Southwest Ranches, the Snow Residence exemplifies the artistry and skill that The Landscaping People, Inc. brings to its landscape s. The landscaping was a complete renovation of a very large site, into a beautiful, functional, and peaceful place to enjoy nature. Our team first recognized the site's unique challenges, including uneven topography and disjointed design elements. The solution was to develop a terracing garden, with natural stone retaining walls constructed of native coral stone, which unite the landscape while addressing site-specific water runoff. At the center of the exterior landscape, vigorous tropical plantings were chosen to complement the house and surrounding community. It was important to showcase an energetic and brilliant native plant palette, like Bougainvillea, Hibiscus, and ornamental grasses for year-around color and texture. With landscaping design comes sustainability, so we also specified and installed a custom irrigation system that conserves water while keeping everything lush. The outdoor centerpiece is a beautiful flagstone patio area for entertaining with comfortable outdoor furniture, a fire pit, and careful plant choices that flow around objects to relax and enjoy with family and friends. We even incorporated the winding path system in the garden to engage guests in exploration through the garden to see a variety of plantings. The end result united natural beauty while creating an outdoor living experience and delighting the clients.
