JA Residence by Verde Vertical Inc. The JA Residence , located in the heart of an engaged community, is an example of Verde Vertical Inc.’s commitment to providing high-quality landscaping. Offering our services to the United States, The Caribbean, and Latin America as a whole, our team began this monumental with an established purpose: producing attractive outdoor space in nature. This design is grounded in the comfort of an assortment of beautiful, viable, native plant species. We chose discontinued drought species to sustain interest and reduce water use. At the center of the landscape is an aesthetically pleasing proposed pergola structure made of reclaimed wood to provide shade and a pleasant area for respite. An area of concern was the original topography of the property. Through the advice of our talented team and prudent grading with natural stone walls to alter grade and provide structure, we were able to accomplish vegetation in this space and provide visual interest. A calming water feature of bubbling water in a garden created a natural focal point for the landscape and attracted wildlife. In addition to providing ecological benefits and composting for the rain garden, we also practiced stormwater water management to create an ideal ecosystem for the landscaping of this area. The outcome is an innovative landscape that balances beauty and functionality. The pathways are constructed of permeable pavers to allow for foot traffic but facilitate water absorption as well. The finished landscape at JA Residence met and even surpassed our client’s expectations. The synthesis of curated design and materials with a thoughtful process created an outdoor living space of comfort.
