At Zenful Gardens, we specialize in creating beautiful outdoor spaces where you can escape and enter complete tranquility from your daily life, and this new backyard in Davis, California is no exception. The new landscape design is a perfect mix of native and drought-tolerant plants, selected for the optimal growing conditions of the area. One part of the involved creating a meandering pathway through the yard using river stones that were sourced nearby, for both commercial and aesthetic functionality. Assorted problems on the property like rolling, sandy ground combined with lack of sun in many areas led to ingenious design additions so incorporate raised garden beds and decorative propplanters╚ to add interest and impact growth. A calming water feature with a gentle fountain lends a feeling of serenity to the area, and native grasses and flowering perennials foster the local pollinators and other wildlife and flora to ensure biodiversity. And now the finished product a harmonious landscape embodying the clients desire for a low-maintenance backyard paradise. It features a seating area in the warm enclosure of plants and stone, and it was another milestone that exceeded our client expectations. Zenful Gardens is very proud to have actualized this dream, providing a space for people to be calm, and one with nature.
