The concept showcases attractive native plantings that work well naturally in the local geography bright bougainvillea, flowing palms and tough ornamental grasses. Such elements add visual interest and are also beneficial for biodiversity and sustainability. Through its expanse of carefully considered hardscape, weaves natural stone walkways and cool concrete terracesproviding guests an opportunity to pause and gather. The coastal winds and salt exposure due to the hotel location posed the one of biggest challenges faced during this . In designing for these elements, we integrated durable materials and salt-tolerant plants to create a resilient landscape and built-in the potential for lasting stewardship of the design. Our team also created a water-efficient irrigation system as well as sustainable solutions to maintain greenery all year round. Top among the features of the is the breathtaking rooftop garden, with a 360 degree view of the skyline of Sarasota and glimmering gulf waters. Peaceful with soft seating, and a water feature, this hidden gem gives guests a little respite from the craziness of the big city.
