Pacifica Big Bear by Westcoast Hardscape The Big Bear , located in the beautiful city of Pacifica, demonstrates Westcoast Hardscape's commitment to quality in design and execution of every aspect of landscape. The objective of this was to create an appealing outdoor oasis that works well with the surroundings and will also work well and be a functional space for our client to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The included some beautiful landscape features, such as a unique stone-paver patio made from local flagstone. We used high-quality products to ensure longevity and aesthetics. We plants to the area, including native plants that consume less water and work to improve the ecosystem of the area, while also supporting our efforts for sustainability. Also included in the design was a beautiful water feature that added a pleasant background noise, and was also a statement feature that drew the eye and added depth to the overall landscape plan. As always, we faced a few challenges during the process. One of the prominent challenges we faced during the was the slope of the site, and countering that was critical for safety and accessibility. But with the help of our qualified team, we were able to construct tiered beds with retaining walls built from natural boulders that provided a stunning landscape, while also preventing erosion. Not only did this design work for the landscape's slopes, but it also allows us to create a diversity in their plant palette, and allowed us to form a landscape with heights, and textures. The final result exceeded the client's expectations. They now have a beautiful landscaped yard that provided them with a peaceful sanctuary and a usable social space! The Pacifica Big Bear is a stunning demonstration of Westcoast Hardscape's commitment to quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and desire to produce beautiful s that suit our clients' needs.
